With today's car market, I welcome any amount of competition.
-
The US and Europe have been singing how protectionism hinders economic growth and free trade is the way to go. Now that it doesnt suit them, the story has changed....😅😅
-
Big in Australia. The top EV brands BYD, Tesla and MG. All made in China for the Australian market. So not much choice if your comparing company of manufacture. Add to that no local car industry.
-
BYD is so good at making batteries... even tesla buys their battery.
-
BYD cars are great! I just bought a BYD Seagull for 24K, it’s amazing. The other option I had was a Renault e-Kwid for 30k but it was waay unsafer and didn’t even have half the features byd has.
-
Correction: the BYD Atto 3 isn't even close to the cheapest EV on the European market. There are a range of European and Chinese EVs available for a lot less money.
-
I live in Costa Rica (Central America) the best selling electrical vehicles are BYD, and each year they are selling more and more, the key model here is the S1 Pro, really nice car for the rough streets of CR
-
Well, it drew the attention of Charlie Munger, who, as vice-chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, convinced Warren Buffet, Chairman and CEO, to invest. The investment was not made because of electric cars, however, and Charlie Munger is on record as having tried to persuade BYD not to go into Electric Cars.
-
US protectionism and Chinese expansionism. Economic world order has changed.
-
We have a few BYD buses where I live. Pretty comfortable to commute in honestly.
-
Just a little correction: Name of the city in Hungary where they will have the factory is Szeged not Sziged
-
People who still think that the only reason to buy a BYD or any other Chinese EV is the price have obviously not been paying attention to the market
-
Byd is the No.1 electric buses seller in the world, including European and North American market as well.
-
For example, when the Volkswagen ID3 sells for 15,000 euros in China and 40,000 euros in Europe, I wonder what ordinary people in Europe will think?
-
2:24 The Hungarian city is called Szeged not Sziged (as it appears in the video). Also, it's not just an intention, the factory is going to be built (I live nearby the construction site).
-
BYD will be in the top 10 car sales in Australia this year. We now have Atto 3, Seal and Dolphin. Later this year we’ll have a ute and Song L.
-
We are a new generation looking for affordability and new technological advancements. We dont wanna stay stuck buying overpriced cars that have nothing interesting about them 🙃. Cant wait to have the chance to try one someday
-
When vw occupied the China market, no worries. When Chinese come to Europe,...
-
Here in south American. German cars are becoming obsolete. Even new ones have technology like 15 years old.
-
I wouldn't say Byd doesn't sell "all that many" cars in Europe. Their current market share in Europe is 0.1%
