To everyone out there saying get a life: Twitch streams and Youtube videos = my fulltime job since 8 years. an avarage person works 8 hours a day which gives 18432 hours in 8 years, where I stream for 6h a day which gives my 15000 hours in dayz So no... I absolutely love the aspect of being stealthy with a ghillie suit and hunting players/picking them off one by one, but the only bad part is what about the grass render distance? Being that grass stops rendering after a certain distance, it kinda makes using a ghillie useless unless you’re hiding in a tree, unfortunately..

When ghillies were first added, the group I was with at the time, about 8 guys deep would all be in full ghillies have either AKs or M4s and lie in wait at the Hotspots on full pop servers, or would go down to the coast and save the coastal cuties from the abusive fresh spawn killers. The amount of times people would literally step on us was insane and the voice Com trolling was next level fun. Ghillie suits are slept on in this and very VERY FEW people use them correctly, normally everyone just stands or crouches in a tree/bush with them and wonders why they were seen

Awesome footage. I enjoy sniping in dayz but just like you I encounter alot of the shots that dont register because you are inside the bush or you hit a leaf even or lag. Suppose it makes it all the more satisfactory getting a kill even with dayzs quirks.
