I've previously called my Senators' offices and asked them to vote "no" on anything the Dems want to put forth because there is nothing they want to do that is good for the country!

Am I misunderstanding something or was Schumer literally reading off a script? He was flipping papers and his eyes were kept down on those papers, almost like this was a prepared response and not something actually responding to what Cruz was saying.
