mark: ooh theres a customer customer: ex...cuse me.... mark: NOOOO customer: they always run away..
-
Imagine trying to ask an employee where the pasta is and the employee just throws a box at you.
-
"Excuse me-" Mark: "NOOO" Sprints away ... Mark: "that might have been a bit of an overreaction.."
-
what a good game! hopefully he never accidentally downloads and plays this exact game again by accident
-
Customer: “Excuse m-“ Employee: “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!” and sprints to the nearest staff only room.
-
Okay, hear me out: Night of the consumers VR
-
On my 4th rewatch, I JUST noticed that some of the products have slightly hidden messages. The ones I noticed were on the “cool kids juice” (GET OUT), the ketchup (Wasting your Life) and the miracle cream (You Are Wasting Away). I think that adds a level to this game, it’s not just about how customers are horrifying, but how retail jobs are straight up soul sucking.
-
I like how the customers are fine with the employee throwing a box at them but if you can't find the aisle that they want to go to, they immediately want to speak to the manager
-
[demon voice]: "Exccuus-" Mark: "NNOOOOOOOO!!" A very accurate reaction to customers, honestly
-
"EXCUSE M--" "NAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!" ...as someone who worked retail for almost 7 years, I can say that that IS an accurate reaction.
-
I’ve been working retail for 3 years and counting, EVERYTIME a customer looks in my general direction I keep repeating under my breath “don’t talk to me oh god please”
-
I’m rewatching this after Mark totally actually played the new update and man it’s so funny to see his reactions to stuff be so similar
-
-
"ExCUSe mE" "NOOOOO!" [slams door] That's me on a daily basis
-
Man! I can't believe how the game now looks so different after the update we totally got to see!
-
I can't believe Mark got the updated version three years before it was publicly released.
-
me: it's just a trip to the store it's not a big deal my anxiety:
-
Lady who sounds like a smoker: Exc- Mark: NOOOOOOOO
-
Mark peeking out of the break room looking for danger and immediately being rushed by a customer as soon as he steps out is the realest shit I’ve seen
-
The most unrealistic thing about this game is the fact that the customers are polite enough to say "excuse me".
