ET looks back at the life and career of Olivia Newton-John with some of our favorite moments with the late icon. After ‘Physical’ topped the charts in 1981, the triple-threat revealed she almost chose not to record the pop hit. Olivia recalled behind-the-scenes stories about her role as Sandy in ‘Grease,’ and shared her appreciation for cult hit ‘Xanadu.’ She also opened up about her breast cancer diagnosis and its life-altering impact. In one of her final interviews with ET, Olivia was joined by her daughter, Chloe, and they explained the backstory of their duet, ‘Window in the Wall.’

    They always reference Grease and Xanadu but she also starred in at least two other movies on television; a Christmas movie with her daughter and another where she played a mannequin. Enjoyed those shows because it was such a family loving movie.

    God given talent! Sad she didn't have any grandchildren in later life. But she left her cancer hospital as her legacy. Seemed to really be like her character Sandy" from Grease. Down to earth & modest.
