The first day I played Lethal Company I immediately loved the game, I needed to make an animation of this game and found this meme going around all over internet. hahaha

I started working on this animation at the end of December and finished the animation at early Janary, but I had some problems with Premiere when editing so that's why I got late to upload the meme. xP


Gotta say I always wanted to make an animation look like a cinematic and this was a good opportunity, but with the problems I had with Premiere it was not possible. So this is how it finished. Really happy with the result of the lighting gotta say.

    It took only took a few minutes to find his friend, lying motionless in the center of an empty room. “Alex?” He asked, as if he was expecting an answer. He wasn’t stupid; he knew there wouldn’t be one. He’d heard his neck snap, and he saw the blood on the floor around him now. Even still, it wasn’t quite sinking in; Alex couldn’t really be dead. Cody remembered when Alex had joined the company, a bright-eyed and nervous-handed intern assigned to his squad. He remembered when they’d lost David to a coil head, and when Alex’s quick thinking with a stun grenade saved him from becoming a giant’s next meal. He couldn’t just be gone. Not like this. And yet, there he was, still as a stone, head turned way too far to the side. Cody knelt to pull him into his arms. He considered taking his helmet off, but…no. He didn’t want to see what his eyes looked like now. He settled instead for petting the top of his helmet, as if he was smoothing imaginary hair. Burying his face into Alex’s shoulder, Cody brought him even closer to himself. “I’m sorry.” The words stuck in his throat, his voice shaking with the effort it took to push them out. If he’d been the one in back, Alex would still be here. But then again, who was to say he wouldn’t have just stepped on the mine, or been ripped apart by a Thumper? It wasn’t fair. It never was, and Cody knew better than to expect it to be, but still… Alex was gone. And no one was there to scream for Cody when the bracken’s hands wrapped around his head.
