Richard Pryor made this observation about police in 1979. It sounds like the present day.

How can there be any empty seats at a Richard Pryor show?
  • @Herfinnur
The fact that this still sounds fresh is such a horrible realisation

If you want to know the truth about society? Listen to comedians. They tell the true narrative of life and for some crazy reason it makes use laugh because we know it’s the truth.

He was the first comic I heard with a conscience. One who speaks a lot of truth while making you laugh. He was so brilliantly funny. He left us far too soon. He would be 80 years old today. Richard you are so very very missed.

The one thing that makes me happy about this somber set is finding out Naruto running somehow existed back in the 70s

Comedy and humor is often a strength for very wounded people

My mom always mentioned him and George Carlin when I was a kid. She said they spoke the truth and were predicting the future. I'm 35 now and she's 66 .. I think she was right!

"They don't kill cars"...Is one of the most brilliant lines I've ever heard in comedic social observation. Only Pryor could pull that off.

He's still one of the greatest comedians of all time.
  • It's crazy that this relates so much we still dealing with the same problem 30yrs later

One of the funniest moments in comedy. “He was low running down in here… He went into overdrive on the dog… he had a cap on and it went like this” 😂😂😂😂😂
