This riff is so full of agony like angels crying or something. I’m not a poet so idk how to say it without sounding corny

what a beautiful melancholic sound. i finally get why this song spoke to me so deeply

Part of the reason this song resonates with me is the journey the guitar takes me on. Soft, clear and melancholy builds into a loud, distorted and distressed sound. It makes me feel something beautiful regardless of what it makes you feel

That technique with few guitar tracks in one is a fire. Am I the only one who creates an atmosphere in my head when listening to some Baroque antiquity? I like that!

for some reason this riff feels like it is the seattle sound summed even though i’ve never been all i can ever hear is people saying it wasn’t a good place to be in the 90s with no money, hardly any jobs and the big herion scene. evreytime i hear this song it just reminds me of kurt being dead and i don’t know why maybe it’s because he knew that this would be his last recording, who knows? we’ll never know.
  • Can’t tell if there are more than one guitar tracks. I want to say the solo and after, he’s using his chorus pedal.. a tone I’ve been trying to get for while. This video definitely helps!!

Hearing the isolated backing track in the documentary is so powerful for me

interesting how the guitar tone is thicc and fat on the intro, but it gets way thinner when the bass would come in in the song
