    Please 86 the chicken bullion. It’s loaded with MSG and contains no chicken. The Knorr product has invaded Mexican kitchens and restaurants in the last 40 years and I can’t make sense of it. Make your own stock or use the canned stuff. Even water is fine. In northern Mexico, the tortillas are flour, the beans refried and the rice is orange. In the South,where 75% of the population lives, the tortillas are corn, the beans are black and the rice is white… no tomatoes, just chicken stock, garlic and onion,salt. Delicious. And yes, both rice styles has its roots in Spain, where it’s called Paella, not Spanish rice.
