I failed "Investigation For Grade" week 18 of 21, and was asked to leave. I took an Accident Investigation Class through an allied agency and re-applied to the CHP. Graduated 9th in my class and received the "Most Outstanding Cadet Award" the following year. So Miss Lopez, take a driving class and correct your deficiency and get back in there!! R#CTC-I-89

Don’t ever give up Lopez! I’m home on medical from the Pennsylvania State Police Academy, and much like you, I’m highly motivated to get back and become a Pennsylvania State Trooper. It’ll take a lot to break me from becoming what I want. You can do it with the CHP and so can I with the PSP!

Hope you made it back to the Academy Lopez. My Academy roommate was a "retread" (and the oldest cadet in our class) and we both retired as lieutenants. I've heard of cadets going back four or more times. It is worth it in the long run.

Cadet Lopez, continue with your drive, focus, and persistence and you will achieve your goal. Honestly evaluate your strengths and weaknesses and how to overcome them.
