Here's some extra details from the demo so far: *Many of Goriath's sound effects in his boss battle from Return to Dream Land are reused for Gorimondo's. *If you purposefully play badly, Elfilin will come in and give you short tutorials for certain things, like Mouthful Modes and fighting Wild Edge (the wild form of Gigant Edge). *Put together the first letters of "Holine", "Alivel", and "Lightron", which are all commonly found on translated signs, and the first letters of these supposed corporations spell out "HAL". *In addition to that, in "The Brawl at the Mall", there's a sign at the top of the escalator to the left (you have to move your camera to see it). When translated, it says "Since 1980"---very likely a reference to the founding year of HAL Laboratory. *If you freeze Gorimondo but then drop Kirby's ability used to do so, Gorimondo will unfreeze without taking any damage, opposed to constantly using Ice attacks on him while he's frozen until he breaks out, in which case he takes a load of damage. *By using Mix, which can be gained in stages one and two and rotates only between the four available Copy Abilities, you can get Ice in the first stage, where, if you go on the water at the beginning, Kirby will be able to skate on it. *In this game, if you share food with the second player, Kirby and Bandana Waddle Dee will high-five with each-other, instead of kiss with each-other. *Bandana Waddle Dee obviously can't use Evolved Copy Abilities, but his attacks will instead be powered up to a level appropriate to the ability currently in use. *If you do the whole car segment without the car, it'll just respawn later right next to the bridge, and if you try to cross the bridge without the car, you're forced to use it in the following cut-scene anyway. *There is a special blue coin hidden in stages one and two---for the first stage, you have to get far enough into the stage to get the Sword ability, then run all the way back to the dense forest at the beginning and cut the grass around the area---for the second stage, you have to jump and hover from the top of a building to another, which the top of is out of sight unless hovered towards from the other building's top, and just barely reach the area where the second blue coin is located. Being a staff member of WiKirby is a curse and a gift I swear. XD

1:57 that butterfly always comes by when Kirby is close to death. Which can I just say, for a series about a cute pink circle, that is very morbid and I love it.

To whoever deciphered the letters on stuff in Forgotten Land, major props to you
  • One fact that, ironically was forgotten is that there's a capsule that gives a figurine for one of the numerous billboards seen throughout Downtown Grassland for a company called "Lightron Works". The description given from the billboard figurine for the company is as follows: "The Lightron Works Company was a massive corporation that invested in research and development within all kinds of fields: electro, bio, astro, and more! Lightron eventually split up giving rise to many rival companies and countless heated corporate battles." There may be a small chance the Haltmann Works Company was created sometime after the Lightron Works Company split up as the Haltmann Works Company focused on machinery which can be a subdivision of what they dub "electro" (which is just a shortened way of saying electricity/electronic) when you think about it. Also, by hacking the demo and giving Kirby an Ice Ability pedestal you can have Ice Kirby skate on the water at the start of the demo and even make the same Snow Walruses you can make on land with the upgraded/evolved Frosty Ice ability. Unlike the bombs though the Snow Walruses don't have little floaties around them. But they do bobble up and down on the water.
  • I’m getting the exact same feeling as you when it comes to getting a new 3D Mario game really soon! Hopefully on E3
  • Elfilins gender is actually male, stated on the japanese website for Kirby and the forgotten land
  • I’m guessing Holine is the Kirby equivalent of Buy’n’Large from WALL-E. A big company that made the world unsuitable for humans, so everyone had to evacuate and the place was left in ruin
  • @aidan8232
If you're using sword kirby spam a while blocking and u do a sword thrust fowards and then up, you can also follow it up with b to slam down onto the ground.
  • @The_Ultra-Mask
Yet another fact that wasnt in this video: If kirby is low on health you can use the can-box-thingy (don’t know the name) and shoot out some cans. You can then spit out the can-box-thingy and then eat the cans and restore some health.
  • @JoelTheParrot
love how the first thing that you say is literally impossible to NOT know
  • @Shadex_Joestar
Oh my God this game is already a Masterpiece, and the 1st Level Music is pretty sweet I can't wait for March 25,this is TRULY worth 60 bucks Elfilin is still sus IMO
  • @aruce9
So the lore of haltmann conquering this world is possible? I can’t wait to see more lore on haltmann works
  • @Yipper64
man, whatever happened to this place mustve happened quick, so many regular things where going on, like the sale in the mall, and the new car, everything, and then everyone mustve just disappeared suddenly.
  • @octoboi4019
If you look closely you can see the waddle dee cage inside the turtle boss’s shell through the window
  • @StevenMagne
That's really cool that you found out how to translate those letters!
  • Yeah, the floating ability here is pretty similar to the one in previous spinoffs like the Kirby Fighters series, or Team Kirby Clash Deluxe/Super Kirby Clash
  • The star portals and the "Another Dimension" background really excites me as a RtDL fan. Oh and one more RtDL reference in the game (technically) is the ending gameplay compilation, where a new rendition of "Looming Darkness" is played, the theme of the star portal levels from RtDL.
  • @JGr2000
I would love to See Enemy as the main villain from Kirby Right Back At Ya. I never got into the Kirby games until now with The Forgotten Land being my first Kirby game, but I loved the show as a kid
  • Another figurine mentions a company called "Lightron" which invested in a lot of scientific advancements including biologically related stuff. Maybe they scientifically engineered the Beast Pack into existence? I dunno, it's just a theory
