A new message from Pastor Greg Laurie about the trials we face as Christians. Did you know every Christian will face trials in life for their own good? God allows trials in our lives so we will grow up spiritually, trials are like God’s gym where we are broken down to be built up. Trials make you stronger, not weaker. In the end, spiritual refreshment comes from times of spiritual testing.

My sister died when she was only 6 years young. She was a beautiful girl who loved to attend Sunday School - her favourite hymn was 'There is Sunshine in my Soul Today' the words engraved on her gravestone. My Mother never lost her faith in God and so glad she took me and my other sisters to church every Sunday. My faith has helped me cope with all the difficult periods of my life, especially now since I lost my husband recently to cancer.

I remember hearing you on the radio as a child growing up in southern California. Now I've moved up to Idaho and listen to you on YouTube. I haven't been to church in quite sometime. I have been to a few out here. Did not feel spiritually fed. Listening to you for 15 min. I am begging God for forgiveness. Thank you.

Amen, God uses negative and evil, for good and Peace! It’s happened over and over in my life. Sometimes we don’t recognize until much later , what has taken place. Praise Him, He’s Real and True! 🙏🦋🙏🦋🙏

The snowball is moving so fast now. Picking up weight and speed, at an incredible rate. I pray Jesus strengthens us.

Excuse me while I pick my jaw up off the floor. I am in complete SHOCK & AWE at him saying the day he felt closest to the Lord was the day his son died! I didn't know Pastor Greg had lost his son. 😥 I also lost my son, and that was, also, the day I felt the closest to the Lord!! 💗 My son had just turned19yo two weeks before an inabriated man made a left turn right in front of my son, who was on his motorcycle. It was just this past November 1, so it's a very fresh wound, 😣 but almost right away, I went outside, looked up to the sky, and praised the Lord!! 😃🤗🙏🙏  It actually confused me bcuz I thought I'd b mad at God, bt I wasn't. Surprisingly, I was thankful and so much more in love with Him than ever before. 💞❤️‍🔥💞 To b honest, I'm still confused. All I know is our Lord Jesus pulled me close, hugged me tight, & hasn't let go ever since!! 🤗🥰✝️ I've been reading my Bible almost every day, praying to Him throughout the day, & doing LOTS of devotionals. 😀👍 I LOVE MY FATHER!! And I KNOW He loves me. And I'm confident I'm going to Heaven when it's my turn. And now I'm not afraid to die bcuz I KNOW where I'm going!! Praise the Lord!! ✝️💙🛐🙏💜

I lost my son to Mental illness many years ago. I do not know if he is even alive. When he was about 15 I took him to a crusade where Greg Laurie gave an alter call and Matthew accepted Christ. I hold onto that and the hope that he has eternal security. Thank you for a wonderful message.
  • I call out to the Lord to lead me, vindicate me and forgive me as he leads me through my trial and overcome adversity in Jesus name. Glory to God!
  • I didn’t know that, about your loss of your son. I too, have trusted the Lord immediately when I lost my son in 2015 at his young age of 21. And oh did God our Father Bless me. 2015 was The Best Blessed Year Of My Life.❤️ I want to write a faith book of my experiences all through 2015. So many things God did in my family’s life.❤️
  • About 5 years ago our lives were by one of the worst things i could imagine. But the dumbest thing i ever said is, even God can't use this for anything good. I went in shock for about 2 or 3 months. There was a doctor who asked my husband to put me in the hospital. Thank God he didn't. He made all decisions alone. He turned his back on God as things keep spinning out of control. I knew in my heart that if we had a chance of getting through this God would have to do it. So I spent hours praying and writing scripture. And being with other Christians. My husband is just now coming back to church and God has been there for us. But most of all God has used this for the good.

My refresher is reading the Book of John. You see the personal relationship of Jesus with hurting people. Jesus refreshes the Spirit or heals the Spirit of humanity. When things get tough call out for Jesus and He'll be there by your side. 🤔👍
  • An excellent and timely message, as always. Thank you for your ministry.
  • Good please help me I lost my wife of 32 years and I’m devastated!

Wonderful sermon, this really ministered to me. Glory to God! We all face pain, some different from others but we all face it nonetheless. I'm thankful to be a Christian knowing that Christ is with me through it all. I'm thankful for God's guidance and love towards me and not giving up on me.
