Just want to say thank you for making videos like this. I am a building inspector in Colorado and have been for almost three years. When you panned by the smoke/co detector in the bedroom I noticed it was really close to the wall. I've learned that a lot of combo smoke detectors have a manufacturer specs stating they cannot be closer than 4" to walls when installed on the ceilings. Seeing your videos has made me even more interested than I had been before because I am somewhat of a visual learner lol. I hope to learn as much as I can for you and thank you again.

Gasketed self closing and self latching doors required for fuel burning appliances in bedrooms. Condensing units disconnects don't have working space and don't look like they're on a 3 inch platform. Thanks for the content, cheers to a great 2024
