They Turned This £1 Grain Silo Into An ASTOUNDING Tiny Home!

Published 2023-11-17
This week's story is really out of the ordinary! We visit an english backyard where an old grain silo, purchased online for only £1 has been transformed into a the most incredible tiny home.

Each and every inch of this home has been lovingly crafted. Bob and Carol Ann have poured their art and creativity into this home and the result is like nothing we have seen before.

The silo home is completely functional and yet filled with jaw dropping design features. Stepping into this silo home is almost like walking into an industrial castle, with metal, timber and concrete all working beautifully together to create a truly elemental feeling abode.

We hope you enjoy the full tour of this amazing backyard treasure. To find out more about Bob's artwork, you can visit his website here: www.stig-art.co.uk/

This is not a house, this is a MASTERPIECE. Seriously, absolutely impressed with the amount of effort and talent in it. I could live there.

His creativity is on a different level. Absolutely amazing. 💜💜💜

This man is brilliant. I wonder what it’s like to live in his head…just so envious of how he looks at old cast-off items and can envision making something entirely different…and, then has the ability to do it & do it well! Truly….this is awesome. 💖

What I love about Bryce, is that he is so genuine. For each and every house he visits, he seems genuinely amazed by it, points out details, notices ideas… none of it seems scripted or repetative.

This is the perfect, “Don’t judge a book by its cover.” It looked kinda rusty outside but the inside, just wow! Their creativity is admirable.

It's such a bit of fresh air when a tiny house is made out of something different than a trailer, different layout, different energy flow, creativity at it's highest level. ❤❤❤❤❤

Your UK series is off the chart! I've loved every single one of them. This is another WOW! ❤

What I was so impressed with is the sophistication of the creations made from found metal objects. They have a very finished look. Not just rusty looking. That bathroom mirror and the trim in the kitchen, and that sofa, are all especially awesome! He could sell his work, they are so appealing! What a nice couple, and the twinkle in his eye is so fun! I loved the crocheted bedroom coverlet. A great use of color and texture. She is as creative as he is.
  • The way everything came together perfectly really shows the artists eye for spaces

WOW, this tiny house is amazing. Bob is quite the builder, pun intended.

This takes recycling to the next level! What an incredibly talented artist.
  • I'm flabbergasted by the creativity and art of recycling in this magnificent and cozy tiny house. Truly unique!!

I just love how articulate Bryce is… these never sound overly scripted, and after so many house tours, you’d think they’d all start to sound the same, but his comments are always so kind and personal to the space, which makes the channel so much more pleasurable to watch.
  • One of the best tiny homes I've seen on 'living big in a tiny house'. Bob is so talented and the work that he has done to make this beautiful home for himself and his wife Carol. I particularly like that it is sheltered by trees. I would love to have something like this as a holiday home if we had lots of money. This home is very cosy and that settee is one of a kind. Best wishes to Carol and Bob and enjoy many more years in your unique tiny home.

Oh his talent is a treasure. Love how much heart he put into his home.
  • @e.b.4379
This man's so humble he probably doesn't even realise his talent. I love the ingenuity! If I could, I'd live in one of those today (albeit slightly larger).
  • @badfairy9554
This tiny home could be hired out for film makers. It could have it's own CV.
  • Such a unique creation! We LOVED how he combined wood and metal to create such a cosy place! This home has such good vibes. Kudos to the beautiful couple!
  • @Yesica1993
I love his casual attitude. Yeah, I just grabbed some bits & pieces and tossed it together. (And creates a functional home that looks like piece of art!)
