Alison ran away to be heard and tell her story yet she has yet to be heard and tell her story. All the adults around her continue to speak for her. Clearly she doesn't want to be with her mother and the judge should have listened to her.

Even that woman says the child was "sound of mind, articulate, and clear". NOW WHY DOES THE MOM WANT HER INSTITUTIONALIZED? Hmmm? Investigate that crazy mom.

DCFS- Don’t screw this up! If she feels abused.. then do something about it.. listen to her.. she’s smart.. did you listen to her friend speak?? she’s not “acting out” like her mother is making it sound…
  • Based on this comment from a news article I can completely understand why she ran away. I would have done the same as a teen. “Alison's mom wanted to admit her to a psych ward. Alison cried out for help saying that her mom abuses her and is fearful of her. Sadly, the court ordered for Alison to remain with her mom for the time being. Her mom did NOT disclose all necessary information during the initial search for her daughter. The ones who suffer most in divorce battles are the children.”
  • She's old enough to decide which parent she wants to live with. The adults who put her through this bullshit should spend time in prison.

I served with her father in 2007-2008...He's a Marine Vet and one of the best leaders I ever had...i was a LCpl at the time...hope everything worksout Sgt. Chao 🙏

That young girl is smart. She chooses good friends, does well in school. Listen to what she is saying. No one should have to go through what she is experiencing. Been there! All the best for her. I’m praying for her.

The family court judge failed her
  • @DarKKnightt07
She was in the mom's custody when she ran away and now she is going back with the mom. The judge is a total clown.
  • So poor girl escapes psycho mom, psycho mom cries wolf. let child write what is going on in that family, feels like we getting bamboozled.

Wait let me get this straight. Alison wanted to tell us her story and said she didnt want to stay with her mother after the divorce , and yet the judge gave custody to the mother? Classic

Her mother acted like she had no idea where Alison was but I think she knew why she left …being that admit not wanting to be with her Mom is very telling
  • @lStranger
So what if she refuses to go with her mother? Is she basically given an ultimatum between being sent to a mental hospital by her mother or to a juvenile detention facility/group home by the courts? The incompetent courts need to back off and have their power over kids stricken from them.

Bless this woman for coming forward and supporting Alison. ❤

Excellent reporting ABC7 and God bless the woman who recognized this girl and called in her whereabouts! Yes the Family Law Court system in L.A. County is broken and HIGHLY flawed D.C.F.S. IS MUCH WORSE anyone can look cases up

The mom now doesn’t dare to speak publicly, yet she has the audacity to publish a statement blaming it on the divorce and that Allison is “young” to undermine the credibility of her words. Poor Allison. The mom should be arrested for child abuse.
  • @keropic1
That statement released from her mother….Narcissist never admits her wrongdoings.
  • @DevBob-yi7jl
Give Alison a news conference!!! She needs to be heard
  • @hiiiimymelody
Thank goodness for this woman. So many girls needed a strong, firm, and grounded woman like this lend credence and credibility to our voices.
