This may not be the most "forgotten" game, but I think the players on both teams are fun to look back on, and this one was definitely a classic!

as an indians fan this year was so hard to get over. we were the #1 team in the AL just for us to lose to a wild card team

I’m a Yankees fan and I don’t know how we cameback after this game. Being down 2-0 and blowing a 8-3 lead in Game 2.
  • @THayes.
    LINDOR WITH A SWING AND A DRIVE🔥🔥🔥
  • @DB-tu1gs
Both defensively and offensively, yan Gomes was the player of the game

I remember being on my way to watch the Dodgers and Diamondbacks NLDS and was watching this on my phone. I went ballistic after that Lindor homer!
  • This was the last time in the 2017 postseason that the Yankees lost to a team that wasn’t caught cheating

Gomes representing Brazil and making us proud. Glad he got the ring in 19, the second Brazilian ever, but he was an actual important player, the other one was just on the bench. Yan also caught the last ball

still can't figure out how that 2016/2017 indians roster didn't win it all

As a Yankees fan, we won this series, so I can look back at this with happiness.
  • Even though this may not be a forgotten classic, This is a great classic game. I was hoping the Indians would win it all that year.

I thought we were cooked after this. I still can’t believe that we came back after that, The guys rallying behind Girardi was one of my favorite moments in all my years following the Yanks
  • Game 4 of 2003 World Series is a good one for this series. Gonzalez walk off in extras and I think Miggy took Clemens deep that game as well
  • I wish I was more into baseball and the playoffs back in the early 2010’s. I would’ve been going ballistic for games like this.
  • I can only imagine how mad Gary Sanchez is at 7:45. A missed opportunity to review a call he was right on turns into a huge momentum shift.

this was my favorite mlb game all the way up until the Rays 7-1 comeback in boston this past labor day
  • @Miketank35
Yet we still managed to comeback and win the series
