As a freight guy, the T8 has me intrigued. A medium dedicated freight hauler. I will have uses for it for sure.

As a freighter pilot I'm very much looking forward to it. It will replace my Python freighter which has made me billions and my Type 7 which I will cannibalize for engineered parts to put on the T8.

It’s a T7 that actually is a medium ship. It also fits on a medium, so it renders the former and the python obsolete for shipping.

I'd be willing to bet, though, that it's built on the wireframe for the Krait.

Looks like a mining ship. Similar to Eve Online Venture and the one from Star Citizen Vulture that is a Salvage ship. Interesting design. Glad to see Elite have its own version of Pylon ship ..lol

I'll be getting the Type-8 ASAP. I think it will be a great replacement of the python for community goals and my friend has just started in ED and need flexibly for transport missions with his sidewinder.

I cant see the Type 7 being relavent after this. With more cargo space, SCO compatability, and only needing a Medium pad, its just an upgrade over a Type 7, or even a Pax/Cargo Python. The size 7, if you dont mind giving up a sizable portion of cargo space, can also equip a Universal Limpet Controller; the only Medium ship that will be able to do so

I need to unlock those size 1 long range pre engineered mining lasers. A bunch of those on a T8 should make for a very nice laser miner.

I might actually wait on this one. Currently Exploring in my Python MK2 for the heck of it, but craving a Dolphin and an Orca for some reason. (evil speedy reasons) I'll relegate the PyMK2 to combat when I return and head back out in a suped up Dolphin. No need for the T8 until I'm back for BGS or Booze Cruise.
