Hi thanks for this video, very informative.  I'm new to laser cutting, i had a couple of questions if you could help. Does the laser include an air assist? And do you need an air/fume extractor for the smoke? Thank you for any help

I just got mine but have not tried over 10% yet, it is better to have low power and then burn several times or at lower speed you can make your own pictures in paint or other program and save them as PNG or BMP and put them in the folder c / neje / My Collection. For metal, glass, plexiglass you can use toner from printer. I think.

Thank you for this video sir! Do you have some test results with acrylic maybe? Can it cut a 4 or 5 mm acrylic plate?

I do not remember the Youtube channel, but on wood and basically anything that would leave burn marks...they used painters tape to keep the edge from being blackened as much....

Good job. How do you change the letters in a vector graphic?
  • it feels like there's something deceptive with the watt rating. The glowforge will cut out the 3mm wood with 1 pass, not even a slow one. The output of these 40W diodes appears to be 5.5W or 15W?

Thank you for this nice video! It was very helpful for me. I have a question about the precision: is this laser still precise if you cut/engrave with higher speed? I read about a „bouncing“ laser because of the triangle stand. Can you tell something about that?
  • could you try to cut on leather 3mm thick? thank you so much.. i appreciate it
