Super Mario Movie FIRST LOOK Revealed!

When The Mario Movie was first announced from Nintendo and Illumination, people assumed it would be bad; Illumination doesn't have the best track record. Combine that with the Chris Pratt casting as Mario, along with other strange celebrity choices, and the ingredients were there for this to be another questionable video game movie. However, the new poster reveals that we may have been wrong. Could The Super Mario Bros. animated movie actually be... dare I say it... REALLY GOOD?!

This might be one of the best posters from Illumination. The amount of detail is incredible especially the toads. I love how one of them is carrying a cheep cheep. I’m actually excited for this

The poster shocked me because of how good it is. This looks surprisingly great!! The animation art style looks really different from what we usually see from Illumination. Very beautiful and colorful. It seems that it stayed true to the video games and that is great! Now i’m hyped for this movie 🤩

I am so hype for this movie and some references you may have overlooked was the Tosatarena Ruins button on the Toads backpack, the Cape Feathers near the Antique shop, and the bakery may JUST be a reference to Kinopio Cafe

You can tell the heart they put into this poster. Each detail is oozing with passion for the game. It looks like a mish-mash of all Mario games... I love it!

It feels like they’re taking a “Detective Pikachu” approach to this, where the characters use more realistic textures; and the world itself is more lifelike.

Although I’m concerned about the certain possibility of Mario’s face potentially looking bad, I actually really like the quality of everything you can see in the poster.

I used to be really obsessed with the Mario franchise when I was younger, and when I first heard that there was going to be a Mario movie, I was really excited. I’m not as obsessed with Mario anymore, but the whole thing will always be special to me, and I’m really excited to see how the Mario movie will be! I have been waiting for this for a long time, and by first impressions, it looks amazing!
