cool thing! Especially when working with metal, I would rather have heard the sound of the machine than random rock. Where did you buy this and what did you pay?

I bought one of them on Ali for 170€. But the quality was so bad, that I had to fix bended screws, I couldn't fix the material properly in the chuck. I had to send it back. The idea of lathe of that size isn't that bad. but double the price, build it properly, improve some design flaws (as ex: the space between chuck and the crossslide is to narrow) and you would have a good micro lathe

Am I imagining things, or does it actually come with a live centre?

Very nice micro-lathe!!! How much did it cost and where did you purchase it??? Thanks for the video!!!

Hey!, wow! $350?? That's a complete rip off, taking into account it has plastic gibs, zinc-alloy 3-jaw chuck, aluminium cross-slide, hollow "bed", etc. Well, we all have to thank the US for pushing prices high everywhere else in the name of "globalism"... Still a nice toy to mod it up, which is to change the bearings for angular contact ones, make it a proper cross-slide, a new chuck, etc. I hope you enjoy it!
