I am EXTREMELY bad about spam building during end game situations; this single video was very helpful in my understanding of some techniques to practice to become an actual builder. Excited to practice some of these.

Tip 21 will add a slight delay when picking up weapons. This could result in someone else getting a weapon before you off landing. This is especially important for controller players since Keyboard and Mouse players usually have scroll wheel pick up as well.

i’m not even halfway through the video yet and this guy is superb at explaining. I’ve tried watching other videos and they use complex terms of fortnite which i don’t understand at all. he explains it is simple words, which helps so much. I’ve been playing since the game came out and I’ve been playing competitive for quite a while now but seeing the way Ken beans explained all of this it seems extremely beginner friendly and if I was a new player I would find this pretty damn helpful

21:24 great advice! Extra good for controller players because alot of us might be under the assumption that we should be turning and jumping at the same time if we have paddles. Well you guys know now just because you can jump and look at the same time on paddles or claw doesn't mean you should always do it. Hope that makes sense guys! Thanks ken!

You need to find the smallest edge when farming mats. If you are looking at a wall? You go to the edge of it. Length X Width X Height = The size of an object. You are going to look for where it has the least W (Width) and when you hit it, the circle will appear in front of you everytime. Another trick, if you are aiming for the circles and one is far away, hit that circle but close to you. The game will then put the rest of the circles in front of you instead of further away.

20:45 #44 I'm actually proud of myself for developing this good habit. Usually takes bad players off guard because they expect you to spray after you hit a shotgun shot but instead you go for more piece control

For tip number 18, I just press the build mode button again. If you have a weapon out, then bring builds up, if you press the builds button again,, it brings out the weapon again. super useful once you get used to it

29:56 I can confirm!! Personally, a lot of movement definitely discourages me from going for a lazar / snipe. Even missing a single shot in a scenario like that can make or break the difference between life and death
