Hi, just found your channel. I just consumed a bit of what I think was Aloe chinensis, and have been researching how to distinguish them. Is there a good way to tell whether it's barbadensis or chinensis? Thanks in advance, subscribing!

That soil was dry or wet? I just love how aloe vera survive everything, it takes lot of neglect to kill it. But somehow it grows good at place where person loves it. 😃

Greetings from Delaware. New to your channel. I can't seem to grow aloe vera for nothing. I have 2 small plants & they keep dying back. I learned that I was over watering my previous ones & they didn't have enough light & died. So for these 2, I had them outside, but took them out of direct sunlight because they were burning. I brought them back inside under grow lights, & they were doing well. I have new pups coming up in the center, but one of the plants have a wobbly top & it's going to detach. Do I just put the top part in water to regrow the roots & leave the rest of the plant alone since it already has an established root system, and hope that more pups can grow out of it? If both of these plants don't make it, I won't be growing anymore because I can't seem to keep them.
