Wow! I have both varieties growing at my house & I didn't know that they were different, lol! I got them from my mom's house, where she grew them for decades. I have about 25-30 plants growing, most in pots & about 10 planted in the ground. I'm so crazy in love with this plant!
  • Thank you so much...your videos are always so informative...look forward to the next one😁. I have the chinensis one but looking for the barbadensis...all the species are so fascinating
  • fantastic video! Thank you, this was so thoroughly descriptive of various features! Most informative one ive seen so far:) Loved how you showed differences in gel the most. Edit: I can say with confidence after watching this that I have Barbadensis!!!

I prefer the barbadensis, thicker and clearer gel, rounder leaves, and to me they look better too

Thanks for the amazing channel! I have a problem with my Aloe Vera plants & hope to find a solution from your experience, my Aloevera plants looking healthy , green with good gel content, but when I cut the plant to extract the gel I found white spots (on the gel itself ) , I don’t know what’s the problem with it. & all the aloevera plants in my garden have the same problem! It didn’t happen before .

Very interesting and informative, thank you... but I still can't really tell the difference :-D .... maybe just a slight difference in colour...
  • I Love my aloe's I've had mine for a year it's time for a bigger pot
  • Barbadensis is my favourite one . But I have the 2nd one which I don't like at all cause it releases a lot of pups . So it became so hard for me to care. They can't grow well in the mass of pups.
  • Sir can you plzz show us that how you extract aloe vera gel and juice from a leaf. Especially juice. Thank you
  • @celsocastos2717

Super cute video, wow! I have Aloe arborescens...
  • I have an aloe plant it’s 20 cm tall but it still has white spots, so it is not mature yet right? How long did your aloe take for mature? I bought it from ikea so it’s kinda full of punches and twisted leaves
