Loot Lake was then re-introduced as a Landmark in Chapter 3: Season 1, taking a new form but sharing the name of the original and still taking the general premise of a lake.

I'm a huge fan of FORTNITE just like you and love putting together videos showing the evolution of Fortnite. It takes a lot of effort to create these videos but I'm proud of them. It takes me about 10-12 hours per video and requires a lot of research.

Chapter 1 Loot Lake or Chapter 3 Loot Lake?
-
In the good og days you better hope you weren’t in the actual lake itself with no mats and you would get caught in the middle of a battle and it was so annoying because you had to walk in the water
-
Every og knows the fear of having to pass the waters of loot lake
-
I also desperately miss that middle map area where that little cluster of mountains was, that being the spire one and the other 2 to 3. Those were my favorite spot to just go and sit all game if I was tired of actually trying and just wanted to observe
-
on a kind of related note can we talk about how pretty the map was in C3S1?
-
i love how in season 10 (chapter 1) its so much chaos and in season 1-3 its just a lake house, really shows how much events happend, starting off a meteor, and ending with a black hole.
-
Can we just admire that this has been with us from season 1 to now
-
Loot lake is one of those POI that I feel should never leave, I just feel its one of those POIs which Epic secretly loves the most l, and hence why its technically returned in almost chapter, just not as a named POI
-
Chapter 1 Season 6-9 Loot Lake (without the floating island) was one of my favorite drop spots, would always leave with some decent loot and a few kills, and proximity to tilted towers and the slipstream was great for rotation after.
-
8:02 I’m pretty sure this is what actually happened, because I know for a fact the chapter 3 map is not the chapter 1 map, even though there are still plenty of differences between the two maps, but the chapter 2 map was also similar to chapter 1, so I knew that, the flipside must’ve never existed before the end event, because it feels like the two maps are split personalities, makes sense why there’s 2 of them, really
-
Fun fact: In C1 season 1 the water in loot lake was bulletproof so by using the worm emote in the lake you were invincible
-
it's impressive how good chapter 1 was, everything was well done and made you want to play. nowadays they only stay in partnership which honestly is making the game kind of boring.
-
Chapter 1's water looked so good!
-
Insight34 I’m an og, I’ve started at chapter 1 season 4 and yes your correct it’s pain getting across loot lake
-
Favorite POI the fact that they brought the OG house from chapter 1 really brought back some memories my favorite version of Loot Lake was chapter 1 season 6
-
Definitely my favorite chapter 1 location. I loved seeing it change over the seasons, since the unique way fortnite does it’s storyline through changes is one of the reasons I love it so much.
-
Honestly I like season 7 loot lake the most, absolutely perfect spawn
-
Og events were the best. New events seem pushed on to be lore filled and long.
-
I only started in 2.8, but after watching this video… Live Events just hit different with Map development. It’s astonishing and beautiful to watch. uwu

8:46 saddest day in the life of an og
