I started following the volleyball, and also, the japanese team in 2019-2020. I feel like these years they've been polishing their own ways to overcome some handicaps they often have in complexion and height against some of the top countries and they pay off is allowing them to stay among the best in the world. Watching them play makes me fall in love with volleyball again. Not to say I don't enjoy watching other teams, but something about the Japanese team hypes me even more :) Also, the fact that I' was invested into Ran's matches since his last nationals in school makes it that more special for me to watch him grow in the international scene
