Last year I had a 10 day shocking heart failure, this March I broke 6 ribbs...at the tender age of 66, and in all that strive to survive, Grant's Gibson, pulled the strings of my heart.. making me want to hear Idle Moments, just one more time...and that after thousands of hearings, since the late 60s. I am still here..still listening to the music that the gods enjoy.
  • Diclvered this in 2010, in Benicarló, Spain, now I'm back to the town after 12 years, still my favourite music

One of the greatest ‘in the moment ‘ Jazz recordings ever made. Initially the producer wanted to scrap it as Grant closed his eyes and took chorus after chorus making the track too long for the album. However, they couldn’t recreate the feeling of that first take, so decide to keep it...thanks god!!!!!!!
  • light a joint to this while i sit and admire the birds fly by. Greetings from Mexico

This song makes me wanna go be an undercover detective and clean up the streets of a crime filled metropolis while smoking a cigarette and having a narrative monologue playing in the background.

10-22-2020 - foggy day in NYC - the bluesy vibe of this tune sending chills down my spine as the mist thickens, and my mind feels fresh and energized and clear. resting easy but motivated to be creative and sew some amazing jazz inspired outfit

Listening to that song again again and again during, the quarantine in Paris. It just suspends time and make the days more bearable. Thanks for posting

Feels like having a couple of shots in the bar at a night filled with some people and smoke. Everyone's minding their own business, yet vibing to the sweet idle moments. A couple talking to the bartender, some blokes playing darts and some are trading deals in the corner. Yet no one bats an eye to one another, as if they are on their own worlds with one song playing.
