Published 2023-01-03
James Cameron plans to make us look at the franchise from a new angle. Avatar 2 brought us the water clan. But now, Avatar 3 is set to bring in a fire clan that’s close to a volcanic biome. Just like the Metkayina are commonly known as the sea people, Avatar 3 is set to reinvent the wheel and introduce us to the “Ash people” who will be present in fiery and volcanic surroundings. And Cameron further claims that the Ash people will actually be villains.

So here's your Ash people explained video. Find out the details about Avatar 3 villains revealed by James Cameron and see how the strongest Fire Na’vi Clan will soon be in play on Pandora.

Not enough people are discussing the phenomenal writing of family dynamics. It's literally the most important theme in the movie, even above adaptability.
  • I hope that the "Ash People" will be more brutish and muscular. They'll be kind of like the Silverbacks of the Navi. Twice as strong and twice as brutal.

Even If there were 10 movies, 3-4 hours long, each movie introducing another clan, i would watch it without hesitation. Just thinking about it gets me excited. I imagine the Ash people to be bigger, with more tough, leathery skin, and short hair.
  • Cameron said the Ash people use fire as a weapon not that they live in a fiery biome, they could possibly live near a Volcano. It's an awesome idea to have central antagonists who are Na'Vi, the inverse of the first two films. Perhaps the Ash people broke Eywa's rules and have developed technologically giving them an edge over other Na'Vi tribes. I hope they introduce more biomes perhaps a northern polar biome and maybe a desert biome and how Na'Vi in those places have developed.

i can’t imagine that the “fire clan” being red. Most likely they’ll be a similar color of blue, like a darker shade, OR they might be purple instead? Grey colored skin seems to be taking the throne rn-

Avatar should add a desert clan and winter clan, imagine how cool that would be
  • Wasn't there a character in like a cancelled video game or something who was supposed to be a Na'vi from a volcanic region who had grown dishearted and resentful toward Eywa due to their harsh living conditions? Could've sworn I heard there was a character like that planned for one of the games. Guess it was setting up this clan.

James Cameron introduced acting and filming underwater in The Way of Water, which brought filming to the next level. In the next sequel, he will introduce us to acting and filming within flames/lava in the Seed Bearer (Ash People). So excited about this. Good luck to the new set of actors.

Just think of how diverse humans are to each other? Think of all the different skin colors, face shapes, eyes, body shapes, some tall, some short, some skinny, some fat. The Metikaya are much different to the Omitcaya, so of course all the other races would differ amongst each other. And in the same that races evolved around their environment here on Earth, Cameron incorporated the same concept to the Navi’. This franchise is genius.

Consider me intrigued. I wasn't really excited for The Way of Water, because I wasn't a huge fan of the first film, but The Way of Water was surprisingly quite good, and it's got me interested in what comes next.
  • I'm already viewing these 'Ash People' having a way more twisted and even cruel way to worship Eywa compared to the ways how Omaticaya and Metkayina worship her, and I think that their way might include fire which they are said to represent. I've been thinking that perhaps they hold the ceremonial rituals with sacrifices in which they burn the victims into ashes. Anyway, I'm interested to see the environment where they live, which might be the volcanic area in Pandora as their name suggests, and that what kind of heat-resisting creatures lives there.

I always just assumed that all na'vi were blue, it would be weird seeing them in a difference colour
  • It's kind of ironic that avatar: the last Airbender and this avatar have these elements that now James Cameron's avatar is implementing, at first was just normal navi then the way of water was a more water theme and next fire...pretty cool imo.

James Cameron is taking inspiration from Avatar: The Last Airbender, Legend of Zelda, and Bionicle. All these elemental species and clans. I assume the next Na’vi clans will be like the Goron in Legend of Zelda.
  • Now, with only 8 films on his resume, James Cameron has now reached number 2 on the list of highest grossing film directors of all time. Only Spielberg is ahead of him with about 40 movies under his belt. Cameron may surpass Spielberg in box office by the time he's done with the Avatar series.

This is interesting. Even if these ash people are brutal Na’vi, shouldn’t they have something in common with the other clans? The big one being “don’t let the sky people destroy our world”. I think about the Ronald Reagan quote about how if earth faced a greater threat from outside our planet, hopefully we would forget about our differences and come together for the greater good. Maybe this clan is somehow in cahoots with the sky people.

Then that means we would meet another Na'vi's breed. Onomaticaya and other forest tribes are inspired in Native americans, Metkayina and other sea tribes are inspired in Polynesians while this tribe of fire i guess would be inspired in barbarians or vikings due to their temper and aggressive traits.
  • I knew James would make Navi also Red , I mean...you can definitely make all the colors skin through the next 10 movies
