James Cameron PLANS For Avatar 3 Details REVEALED..

Welcome back to Film Dash. Avatar: The Way of Water has finally arrived, a full 13 years after its predecessor. But with the movie poised to be a smash hit, and Avatar 3, 4, and 5 plans announced a decade ago, it’s hard not to immediately look ahead at what’s next for the world of Pandora and the larger Avatar universe. Director James Cameron has been on an extensive press tour for Avatar 2 and a lot of the talk has involved the theoretical three Avatar sequels that are apparently on the way.

With Avatar: The Way of Water finally releasing in theaters more than a decade after Avatar, audiences won’t have to wait as long to watch Avatar 3. Co-written and directed by James Cameron, The Way of Water introduces a number of plot threads that could carry over into Avatar 3 — here’s everything to know about the third film in the flourishing Avatar franchise, including what to expect regarding the film’s story.

We need to normalize intermissions again. I would be SO IN to see a long movie especially considering how long we have to wait for them 😂

I hope we get all five, I am so impatient for all these

    I definitely would survive a 9 hours film, if it’s Avatar 🤭

Avatar 4 & 5 needs to come. An end with 3 won't be fair to the audience who have been waiting for so long to get a proper storyline and execution. Let the movies be made exactly how James Cameron wants it to to be. Else, they might just fail because of pressure from different entities to cut costs or to end it with 3 with a different storyline.

Who else would watch a 9hour long Avatar. I would gladly !
  • Avatar never dissapointed anybody, Avatar 2 was a massive succes and my god was the movie more than beautiful and outstandingly magical. James can't make a bad movie, and even if there's already plenty of cgi movies, there isn't anything like Avatar and the world of Pandora, thats something you don't get anywhere but with James. Avatar 3, 4 and 5 need to come, this world and this story that we are all riding along with isn't over yet, its still progressing and telling more about other clans, expanding and showing more of the world of Pandora. I woudn't care to watch a 4 or more hour film of Avatar, I wouldn't even doubt it. I really hope the other films do come out, I know James will always bring out the best of the best with these sequels and they won't be in risk of failing.

A 9 hour movie isn’t a movie. The concept of what we know to be a movie dies if Cameron is actually able to pull this off. It’s gonna be rather a life altering and life changing experience he’d be providing at that point. It wouldn’t be for the purpose of “entertainment,” it would be more for the purpose of enlightenment.
  • After learning why he filmed all 3 films together, it makes total sense. For those who don't know he did it so Sully family wouldn't age between movies. I hope they release a director's cut of the 3rd and 2nd movie, because I would love to see more of Avatar and learn more of the stories that couldn't be shared.

My theory for Avatar 3: They will introduce a new Wicked Na'vi clan. These clan are advance civilization live in isolated way underneath the pandora. They don't worship Eywa but the Suns of Alpha centaury. Thus, they are called the fire/ash clan. Because of the suns worshipping, their culture solely based on Meso-American or ancient Egypt or Eastern Asia. They were the main cause of the first great sorrow and lost the war to the first Toruk Makto and seek revenge to the Eywa and the rest of Na'vi clans. They see opportunities of the humanity second arrival and will considered them as ally to seize control and power over Pandora.
  • i would love a 9 hour version but not everyone can go to a cinema for 9h. for the 3rd one, my opinion is to do another 3 hour movie with all the main plot. then have a web series, like justice league (jack synder cut) which includes all the other bits that were cut out (cut character development, scenes shortened to get to the point quicker. scenes cut to reduce run time . that way he can put all the content he's shot into 1 hour episodes and have like 9. call it the director series

while I'd love a 9 hour avatar movie I understand that not everyone would and suggest releasing it in 2 parts instead
  • Well unfortunately the movie did not fail and was one of the best movies in 2022 so they still got work to do😃👍👍
  • I would like to see a theatrical cut of like 4 hours max but I would gladly watch a 10 hour long extended edition in my own home. I mean I would want to watch an Avatar movie probably 24 hours in length. I want it to be real. I want to live on Pandora
  • As I understand, he doesn't have 9 hour cut - he has 9 hours worth of footage. It is then the job of the editor along with the director to edit the footage into a movie.

All I know is avatar 3 & avatar 5 will be something epic that people have never seen in cinema.
  • I’ve watched avatar: the way of the water 3 times now and I’m gonna watch it another 5 more times so he can get this series coming. Cameron is absolutely amazing in his work and I would fatally watch 9 hours of avatar no questions asked
