This is how a best man speech should be!!!

Thank you so much for posting this. I kept coming back to this video for my best man speech because of how comfortable you were able to make it for the audience with a mixture of wit and sentiment. I stressed for two months for the day giving my speech and I just had it this weekend. I literally had to come back to comment. It went amazing. I had people come up to me afterwards saying they cried and laughed. It felt amazing. I am not too showy of a guy and don’t like the spot like so I did the phone approach like you did in this video. Thank you again. My advice to anyone looking to the comments if you’re about to have one: -If you’re uncomfortable and don’t like the spot like like me, use your phone -be confident, drink a before you get up there but not too much where you’re gonna slur your words or not remember what you said for the groom -hit these key points 1. Thank the parents that made was the wedding possible 2. Thank the groom for the opportunity to be a best man 3. Talk about a story and qualities that the groom has that will show why you got the best man position in the first place. Highlight his good qualities and why hed be a good husband — (with some jokes and make it fun!) 4. Talk about the bride and how the groom chose a good one to marry 5. Toast! Good luck boys!

I just wanted to say thank you so much for this awesome speech. I based mine on this and it really helped me get straight to the point. I'm so happy for my best friend and his wife, and the direct, statement-led nature of this speech showed me that you really can just come right out and say it. It also showed me a perfect balance between humor and emotion. Needless to say, this video helped turn an extremely high pressure moment for me into an exciting one where I could focus on how happy I was for my best friend. I got a ton of compliments on my speech from people I had never met before, and in the end, the most important thing was that I could communicate with my friends how awesome the day was.

I’m modeling my speech off of yours I have a wedding coming up this weekend. Very quick and to the point which is what everyone wants. Just enough humor and sincerity. I hate speaking in general let alone giving a speech so this being 4 minutes is perfect

I’ve watched 100’s of these and this is the only one that fit my personality without being too offensive. Lmao my brothers family are super religious and wouldn’t be able to say any of the jokes I wanted to without pissing off someone lmao I won’t use this word for word but it helped me with the structure. The brides maid is a English teacher so couldn’t just wing it either. Thank you so much!!!!!!
