It's great to see a young man like Elliot really into his metal and knowing his stuff. Where were kids like this when I was at school nearly 20 years ago???
  • I was dying 😂 when Brian Slagel stood up and started walking away after Pete said that he doesn't like Paul Baloff's voice, classic. Very good episode. I really enjoy this show.🤟🏻🤟🏻

I can’t believe nobody mentioned Funeral Hymn as a standout tune. I love Dukes era Exodus. True Thrash,

I like the cross generational approach - you know music is good when people of various ages listen to it, not because of nostalgia or fashion, but because it’s actually good.

    1) Bonded by Blood, one of the greatest debut in heavy metal... 2) Fabulous Disaster ... The Toxic Waltz, such an iconic song. 3) Tempo of the Damned .. what a comeback it was!
  • This was an awesome, amazing, absolutely great show!!! One of the best ever... EXODUS, our favorite Thrash Metal band of all time, Bonded By Blood desert island record, Another Lesson In Violence is the BEST live album in thrash history!!! The H-team were like the Tipton/Downing of Thrash, mount olympus stuff...

This was fun! Thanks you all for doing this. Brian Slagel is a legend and I love Elliott. Steve is cool as always! Hope you have all them back. Great episode. Talking bout Metal Blade, I just picked new Angel Witch on vinyl and King Diamond: Spiders Lullaby. I am very pleased as a costumer I trust when I buy something from MB on vinyl. It's done right so thanks for that! If you see this Pete tell Brian that I am very thankful! Looking forward those early King Diamond reissues. Cheers and respect from Finland, Petri
  • pete you're crazy for the baloff thing! thanks for keeping it interesting and providing different points of view. definitely inspiration to rethink the differences between baloff and zetro, as there are many. respect and thanks for the show!

Now that was a fun episode! I remember buying "Fabulous Disaster" shortly after it's release and it stayed in my Walkman for weeks and weeks, maybe months and everywhere I went I had my Walkman so I listened to it constantly and to this day "Fabulous Disaster" is still my #1 Exodus album of all time. That's freaking awesome that you guys are going to do a Mercyful Fate ranking video too, can't wait! Slayer!!! That one will be killer and I've been a huge fan of Celtic Frost since Morbid Tales!! This channel is quickly becoming one of my favorite channels on YouTube for sure!!!! Love the addition of another ranker too, it prolongs the fun and that kid is pretty damn articulate in explaining the reasoning behind his ranking choices. Great show!!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
  • Love pretty much every Exodus album. The Rob Dukes era has really grown on me through out the years.
