Being a Canadian I am immensely proud to have been a fan of Rush for the past 42 yrs. They're the reason I'm a musican.

Thank you, Neil. For everything. What a massive loss. Cruel end, too. Poor guy never got a chance to see either daughter grow up. Can't think of anyone less deserving of such a fate. I'm completely gutted.

Fascinating man. World class drummer, writer, author and world traveler. The world knew no boundaries for him just like his drumming.

turn off the damn background music!
  • My 31 year old son said the world had lost a bit of light when Neil died . I pointed out a star in the sky that night and told him " maybe not . That could be him . " It's all about how we touch the people around us . He gave so much to us that he will never be truly gone . RIP Mr. Peart . You are still very alive in a lot of hearts .
  • That's one person in my life that i wish i could have met. He was such a professional in all that he did. Live on Neil !!!

The most stupid and loud background music ever

As Neil got older, he became more open, at least to interviews. He learned to manage his own discomfort. That's maturity.

He's really opened up lately. The man is full of knowledge, he's a genius.

Who made the decision of put the background music in? That person should be fired and never allowed to work in the industry ever again

Hey, here's one of the best drummers, most ambitious writers, and creative people of our generation.  Lets throw some really horrible and loud music behind it.
