So I finally got this video to not be copyrighted! This is the best I can do right now so if it does change its mind and gets blocked later then that'll be the end of it. So enjoy it while u can 🙂 happy new year y'all edit: also i know im known for mispronouncing words so I apologize if i did it again in this video lmao i tried my best to pronounce things correctly but my brain gets jumbled and I speak without thinking!

Ponyo (and Ghibli in general) ‘s entire animation style makes me wanna kick my feet and smile. It feels like a hug, if that makes sense
  • @cauldron938
Ponyo is SO underrated Man, and people say nothing is wholesome anymore. This movie is pure Joy.
  • @wrenwry
Ponyo is wholesome, right until you learn the fable it’s based on. Then Ponyo becomes one of the darkest Ghibli films.
  • @Filburtturle
I hav to agree ponyo is the most wholesome movie I ever watched too
  • Ponyo is one of my all time favorite ghibli movies the animation is so. Satisfying and the sounds make you feel like your actually there it’s amazing 🤩
  • @ghostcomet3973
Oh my gosh, I remember watching this movie as a kid! It was my first introduction to Ghibli! Makes me want to watch Ponyo now! ❤️
  • Something ive been curious about is what happens right after the movie. Like, does Sosukes mom just drop that she basically adopted another kid all at once on the dad, or does she try to ease him into it? This is legitimately something Ive been wondering about for a good while.

I've permanently associated ponyo with me and my friend watching it in the back of chemistry class about a week before our last exam. We never got to finish it and never will since we go to different schools now, but every time I see clips from the first half of the film its like I can smell the classroom again
  • @emobird5926
Ofcourse one of your favorite movies is a movie that has good looking water in almost every scene
  • @bigbadcuff
I remember when I first watched this movie, the thing that I was mesmerized most by was the level of detail and vibrancy in the animation for this movie. You nailed it with the comment about how every scene looks like a perfect painting/wallpaper.
  • @millin_chillin
I’m so glad you appreciate this movie as I do me and my family watch this movie way more than we are supposed to :)
  • @hathor8856
I remember loving this movie when i was younger, and i still love it now. It looks so fantastic and the characters are so fun and interesting, especially ponyo, she just absolutely adorable
  • @firemiracle
Out of all the studio Ghibli movies, my top two favorites have to be kiki's delivery service and Ponyo. Both those movies are just so cute and fun to watch 😊
  • @kay21K
You know Awesomemay is gonna rate the movie 9/10 just because of the water.
  • @evanlim9098
I remember I used to watch this with my mom every night when i was younger and i think she memorised the entire script at this point. But even if you don’t count the script of a Ghibli film i think just watching the animation alone hits so hard
  • I watched Ponyo right after grave of the fireflies which made me cry my eyes out. Something I love about Ponyo is that it’s just easy to vibe to. The story was a little confusing for me, but just seeing Ponyo made me smile. Not my favorite ghibli movie, but a very good one

I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of Ponyo, or Ghibli movies in general
