  • Would like to see more long videos from you fixing issues. Also need a compilation video of you saying oil.šŸ˜‚
  • @bj139897
3.5 timing jobs, turbo manifold, and engines keep me employed full time lol.
  • @phazerboy
WSM says specifically not to tighten the timing chain guides with a power tool as you can crack a guide, but your a master.
  • @catchup4430
I hadnā€™t retired when the EGR valves came in and I actually said in meetings with the Robert Bosch people and they refer to it as the engine is eating itself because itā€™s adjusting recirculated exhaust and thatā€™s why they recommend putting additives in it to help the valves and the upper piston keep from carbon up Grace and peace
  • @jameslewis1175
Got one on the rack now. Lucky its a flex miles of room to work
  • @AndrewPruteanu
Ive seen so many 3.5s come in the shop for new timing chains, plus ive worked on many that needed replacing because they chatter like crazy, i had an expedition that i changed the oil on that needed timing chains, that first start up after filling the oil sounding like the engine was going to lock upšŸ˜‚
  • @stan3070
Will you please do some videos on the maverick specifically the hybrid
  • @catchup4430
Youā€™ve been doing a lot of videos on the Ford diesels Iā€™ve been doing some research because I used to be a pump tech for pro diesel. If you go to Europe, they are adding adjectives at the pump or at the time the tanker is being loaded that helps all this submission stuff And your high-pressure fuel pumps survive I mean talk to the Robert Bosch people about the American diesel. American diesel manufacturers are not putting anything in the diesels. The big benefit to the additives are running in your is the EGR valve in the upper piston they help them keep them clean where they donā€™t build the carbon, they should really get it. Stirred up grace and peace.
  • @maria_minamahal
You mentioned doing mainly Gen2s and iā€™m about to replace my 2019 3.5eb F150 , do you have a video on that timing?
  • Have you ever had timing codes come back after 10k when engine is cold after replacing everything with dealership ford timing components on a 2012
  • @catchup4430
Chevron Exxon and Shell sells that additive
  • @grunfieldf8694
With the oil pressure so crucial on these engines. Why would you not replace the oil pump while you have easy access? Just say'n šŸ˜Š
  • @MADMEATHEAD1
Has or will there be a fix ever for the notorious EcoBoost 3.5 rough idle. I have a second Gen(2020) 3.5 H.O that is about to shake me out of the truck at stop lights.
  • @mcmillan1963
Shouldn't you replace everything on the front of that 3.5? Phasers, chains, water pump?. And I would be curious on the price of a reman engine, say a Jasper by the the time you add parts and labor. Plus you get a better warranty.
  • @FectoReviews
Had timing and phasers done twice on my 2013 F150 and itā€™s still popping a P0018 code and has no power. Iā€™m lost as the shop wants to replace the engine due to thinking the oil journals are damaged. Cold start rattle, no power, no acceleration, etcā€¦ Itā€™s acting like itā€™s in limp mode. Iā€™m clearing that code up to 7 times a day just to drive it somewhat normally.
