Indonesian street food in Yogyakarta - In this video, I will take you on an Indonesian street food tour of Yogyakarta where we will be visiting a century-old soup restaurant, a rare seen traditional noodle factory in the nearby village of Bantul, and having some crazy meat at night.

To start our Indonesian street food tour in Yogyakarta, we went to a traditional morning market to have breakfast. We had the most unique breakfast so far, Jenang.

After that, we went to a century-old soup restaurant to try their famous Soto Ayam and a unique drink called Sarsaparilla.

To continue our Indonesian street food tour in Yogyakarta, we rented a car to go to the nearby village called Bantul where we visited one of the few Mie Lethek factories still left to this day. What an incredible experience that was.

To end our Indonesian street food tour in Yogyakarta, we had some crazy meat dishes such as Sate Klathak and Kicik Kepala using head meat and ears. Absolutely insane!

Hope you enjoyed our Indonesian street food tour in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Stay tuned for more videos like this.

  • Buongiorno guys!! Any video idea for our upcoming second channel? 👇

  • @ledsumunara
vibes nya berasa nonton acara discovery TV....60% liputan, 30% journey vlog, 10% mukbang ...

Mi lethek = pasta sporca 😂😂😂 but it's nice, and actually healthier than the normal white& wheat based noodles. It's also chewier. Buon Appetito!!!! Makes me miss my city (born, raised in yogya)... Now living in Germany (married to an Italian).
  • @lan_oniel
I am very proud if Europeans introduce authentic Indonesian culinary delights
  • @iR00N24
Saya selalu suka video2 anda. Sangat bagus dan membuat saya lapar terus 😂👍👍
  • Pak Bari is one of the pioneers and is famous for satay klathak. I'm glad you tried it.
  • What a great experience going to see how the noodles were made. That's the definition of traditional. They seemed so nice and friendly welcoming you in like that, those are always the best travel experiences. We loved the looks of the dinner at the end with all the meat and the sate! Omg it looked incredible. What a great day you both had :) Keep up the amazing content you two!! PS. love the song changes ;)

Whatever the culture shock you got, but you accept it in a positive way, i appreciate it bruh👍
  • you not just a food vlogger. but you always want to know all process what you eat. as a indonesian people i dont know about mie lethek. with your video at this moment i know what and how the process mie lethek. thank you
  • As Indonesian people i totally agree if you said the Jogjakarta has fantastic view and food, but you'll be in love if you going to West Sumatera, that's place has more an authentic city view and original food
  • Ciao di nuovo, Max! Honestly, the food in Yogyakarta is not my favorite as it is a bit too sweet for my taste, but there is something special about Yogyakarta that keeps me coming back. As we say in Indonesian: “Bikin Kangen” 😊 I feel like I'm going to be lynched by my fellow countrymen for the next part of my comment, but I feel uncomfortable with the level of food hygiene (or lack thereof) I see in this video. I hope that we will have a stricter system to ensure the best practices in food handling and take the utmost care to ensure that food is safe to consume. Many Indonesians like to criticize other countries, but don't want to be criticized in return. But we have to accept criticism if we want the best for our people and also if we want to make our food known to the world. Grazie per il video. By the way, I like the rating system! 👍
  • so thrilled that you managed to show us the traditional process of the noodle making.....the daunting process of food making helps us appreciate our food way better
Keren banget, tapi aku kasihan sama sapinya huhu
  • @rikahap324
