The Narcissist will immediately change the subject if you begin to talk about yourself. They are very insecure, be prepared to validate them 24/7 or be driven crazy.

So so true! They make you believe that you’re crazy !! They will blame you for checking their phones when they are definitely cheating and blame you for finding out! Girls it will be hard I know but LEAVE! GOD has better ! Way better just seek his face and trust the process

I would say the first sign will come from your own gut feeling which will send signal to your body telling you that this person doesn't make you feel comfortable being around him/her. The fact that you are already asking this question should alert you to be careful. Something will feel off and you won't know what it is exactly. Covert narcissists can act very charming in the beginning but there will be often also present underlying sense of superiority about them. Moreover, Cheating in marriages is not restricted to only men. Women cheat as much as men do. If you're suspecting your wife of infidelity, you'll have to keep an eye on her of her without her knowledge of her. One of the best ways to know if your spouse cheats on social platforms is by paying close attention to how your spouse behaves while online. The signs are pretty the same. Is your spouse more time on the app without explanation and gets unnecessarily defensive when you ask about it? Most people pay so much attention to the details of the Narc relationship and miss the lesson they learned from it. Then end up with another one next time. You have to figure what was it about you that made you ok with sitting around and allowing someone to continue to hurt you. That’s ultimately the issue. People only do to you what you allow them to. Heal.

hell on earth. my ex was a pure narcissist. just got out of that. shit literally broke my entire heart and i had to cut her off. everything was her her her and she didn’t even care about how i felt. i wouldn’t wish this shit on anybody….

And my narcissist came back and I took him back, why? because I had nothing else going on in my life at the time and I must of been lonely. Not any more, I am living my best life single and doing me.

I left my Narc 10 months ago, after a long horrible abusive (in all ways)marriage I thank God everyday for saving me. 🙌

He was the most desirable man (physically) I had ever met - it felt good being the one he wanted to be with. Red flags were everywhere, but I interpreted them as things for me to overcome. I was the one who needed to fit in with him. It became more and more crazy-making. I thought I was being the best friend, wife and lover that I could be, so why were we always arguing, why wasn't our marriage getting stronger over the years? I didn't find out until after I got out that I had been married to a narcissist and it could never have worked. It was like trying to find peace in a war zone.

I was dating a narcissist and he always seeked compliments. At one point when he asked why I didn't compliment him on something I just told him I didn't think he needed it because he patted Himself on the back So much! Lol..
