Witnessing Toonami's return on Adult Swim that fateful April Fool's Night was MAGICAL. I actually screamed in joy when they cut away from The Room to show Tom in his infamous chair, and that is still one of my favorite memories of all time.

For a programming block, Toonami has a surprisingly extensive amount of lore, not just in TIEs and the tie-in online games but even comics. In fact, around the time Intruder II came out, Adult Swim released a prequel comic detailing the blob monster's encounter with TOM's fourth iteration. Crazy stuff...

The intruder coming back using Tom 1 AND Tom 4s voices together was terrifying. Did you know he was responsible for the Tom 4 unit dieing too? Right around when they cancelled Toonami in 2008 the comics had it shown that he too suffered Tom 1s fate. Traumatic indeed

Even though Im most likely a lot younger than the target audience and did not grow up experiencing these childhood horrors, I still find watching your traumathon episodes interesting and entertaining as your analysis on the topics give me a window into what spooked the previous generation. I remember when this aired! TOM 1.0 getting sucked into that red goop in the elevator was definitely an early trauma for me. When Toonami did another TIE years later, I had legit emotional flashbacks
