Already looking forward to a Harris vs Trump debate
  • @marin_1441
I personally think us parties spend so much time on election campaign compared to other countries like UK and France.
  • @hblaub
They are choosing Josh Shapiro, because then Ben Shapiro has to publicly distance himself from the other guy named Shapiro each day.
  • No one wants to run with minimal campaign and starting behind in the polls vs Trump, so I doubt other potential candidates will claim they should run
  • @neilbruce123
She has already secured almost 1500 delegates and it has been two days.
  • The problem for Harris, is she needs to secure nomination, select a running mate, produce a platform to run on, show policies to sell to the American voter base, debate, campaign. And she needs to do all of that in a bit over 3 months. So I have my doubts.

So, Vice President Trump vs former President Trump...

As a kentuckian, I can tell you Harris would have a difficult time gaining kentucky. There are only two districts in Kentucky that vote blue, and there is a deep conservative movement in the state
  • @Ikcatcher
Announcing something like this with a very plain letter is certainly a decision
  • No Andy Beshear needs to stay in KY please he has prevented so many horrible bills being past.
  • @WarWulf778
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but you forgot to mention that there is $200,000,000.00 of campaign funding that the Democrats couldn't use if Haris wasn't the nominee.
  • The thing is, Harris doesn't have to be good, she just has to be better; both Trump and Biden are extremely unpopular outside of the diehard voters. She is never gonna convince the MAGA supporters, but she can convince at least some more of 70% that disapprove of both men, the type of people who are convinced crime is up by consistent Republican rhetoric and cant stand the idea of a felon winning against a prosecutor.

" There are millions and millions of people who are tired of establishment politics, who are tired of corporate greed, who want a candidate that will help lead a mass movement in this country. What people are saying is, "Enough is enough. The billionaire class cannot have it all." " - Bernie Sanders 🇺🇸

    I cant help it.... "Ken"-tucky. 😂

I'd say she is in a much better position to beat Trump but she is still far off from being a good candidate.
