The way he fastens the battery against the frame is just 100% DIY vibe giving me.

  • I love the simplicity of the concept. Maybe the rotor could be touching the rims with hard rubber or adapt a freewheel to add another chain
  • However it needs here and there some small improvements, this concept is genius in its simplicity! I put this one on my to do list!

  • That's real super simple Electric Bike motor project. I think I will talk to the kids in our neighborhood and make this a project to teach them. Awesome job Creative Etc.
  • Eventually that will wear the tire down. I took an old weekender engine, same concept but on the top of the tire when I was 15. Worked for a while.

I didn't know that 775 reducer motor was that powerfull.. Nice project actually. Maybe i can built one at my sibling old bicycle.. Thanks for the video
  • Inefficient way of power transmission. U should have used gear and sprocket. Any way that motor can be used as generator to light up head lamp.

How fast does the rubber wear? Since the wood is on the rubber tire? PRETTY SMART invention!
  • 25 miles per hour? Sounds good! I am going to try this on my tricycle. Got the battery today, 12v 4ah. Hooking it up now.
