  • People forget....he was a talented musician. No one could play like him. Nevermind the outfits, the glitz, just window dressing. There was a talent

Met him 70's Las Vegas. Shook my hand as he drove away in his pale yellow convertible cadi. What a nice person. What has our world become, now? RIP Decent, caring, smart, excellent performet.

Living in Vegas I was VERY HONORED to be a tour guide for his beautiful mansion 🏠! He had soooo many gorgeous items that meant so much to him and reflected his travels and life as well as his many pianos, mirrors and his gorgeous bathtub- I loved being in there- you could feel his strong presence the moment you stepped inside- and what a warm soul he had. I want to mention he was an incredibly talented musician as well as a smart businessman all wrapped up in the package of a sparkling ✨ entertainer doused with perfect comedian accents. His private life was his own and the world loved him through and through- what a life he led. We will always cherish the memories of you, Liberace. ❤

In addition to his talent, Liberace had the most beautiful, genuinely warm smile. He also seemed like a generous, thoughtful person. Too bad there aren't more people like him in the world.
  • He was a gentle, kind, caring and loving man, who never ever hurt or harmed another life.like all of us, he deserved a private life. He will never ever be forgotten.

Growing up and playing the piano myself, I watched him on those black and white TV programs. I had his piano arrangements for the Twelfth Street Rag and Beer Barrell Polka and just could not believe that ANYONE could play those arrangements THAT FAST WITH ACCURACY! I always thought the recordings were SPEEDED UP until I saw him in person in St. Petersburg, Florida. I was STUNNED to see him play them EXACTLY AS THE RECORDINGS SOUNDED! He had a GIFT from God!
  • He schooled Elvis on how to be a showman....hence Elvis" bejeweled jump suits, capes, jewelry, cars....extravagance....You can thank Liberace for part of Elvis' presence and fame!

What a gentle-man he was... really nice to have discoveted him thru this documentary
  • It's real nice seeing those clips of Liberace and Elvis together in Las Vegas back in 1956. And Liberaces brother with both of them.
  • Liberace understood Vegas and knew you needed glitz to succeed in Vegas . But you also needed talent and he had it in spades. Liberace is really underrated as an entertainer today.

You can see where Elton John got a lot of his act from - what a teacher
  • @ciscolm
I always loved Liberace his flamboyance life and his love of life and people i think he was the one to get me out of my shyness when i was young and to strive to be a good person and to love all that is around me.
  • Lee was a shinning star who brought smiles and happiness to so many! God only makes one of a kind and Lee was our gift to put smiles on our faces through his amazing entertainment!
  • All he did to his home he loved in Hollywood and its rotting away . I did hear someone bought it . The great holidays he celebrated in his home were a big thing to Liberace. He passed there and I believe his spirit is there . I am going to Google I'm sure sure there's information about his home. All he loved most in his business was his fans of course his collection. I wish his foundation would think of doing museums tours starting with the Museum of Science in Boston. There are thousands that would go to view . I honestly believe the reason his museum lost people visits was because you had to fly out or see it while vacationing. If they can tour King Tut they certainly could tour Liberace. Miss you so Mr. Showmenship. Bless you God Bless you wherever your soul may be ...❤
  • It's kind of ironic with Liberace and Elvis. They both had a twin brother baby that died at birth.
  • WOW, He sure was one hell of a SHOWMAN, and he sure did put on one hell of a Show. He sure had incredible dexterity in those flying fingers of his. Unbelievable.

I guess Liberace was before my time, but after watching the YT video with his friend Steve Garey, I learned so much more about Liberace. When I was younger in the 70’s and 80’s, I just knew Liberace was famous for being a piano player, but I didn’t know how he got all his fame. He also was a very private man and maybe bc of hiding that he was gay. Why it was great to hear Liberace’s life through his friend Steve Garey in the other yt video. As almost speaking for Liberace in death. Liberace was a pioneer and set the standards for many others. RIP Mr. Liberace.
