The issues concerned here are discussed in a paper published at the webpage www.rail-nyc-access.com/lirr-jamaica-station - being the sixth item listed on the website's main page. A video is linked there called Jamaica Capacity "Improvements" ( • Long Island Railroad Jamaica Capacity... ) which attempts to give a physical representation of several projects that comprise my 'take' on what would be a properly staged capacity upgrade for Jamaica Station. It differs starkly from what's planned.
