The number of permanent supportive housing units in Austin is projected to increase by over 600% by 2026, according to city data shared at Tuesday’s city council work session.

    the more homeless in the area, the more tax dollars the city is eligible for. is a tax dollar thing, millions of tax dollars are have been received to address homelessness for the last 15+ years, but the problem is getting worse and there's no account for these millions of dollars in tax $$.$$.
