Which Type of Splatfest Player Are YOU? (Splatoon 3)

One group I belong to, that you might have missed, is the Color Overthinker— someone who tries to outthink the algorithm that matches players by picking the team they think will lose. These are the ones who are traumatized by having to fight their own team too many times in Splatoon 1 and 2!

This is my first splatfest and I swear, by halftime most of my games were tricolor 😬. Sorry for stealing all your tricolor games.

I was on team grass and when I tried getting into tricolor, over half of the battles were actually tricolor! A major improvement from the deserted island splatfest thank Big Man (god).

For me, it’s Logic Lovers. Tis why I chose Gear during the first in-game Splatfest and Nessie during the last Splatfest. Surprising how Shiver was the most logical for those two Splatfests too-

I'm the Color Guy, but most of all I go with my heart. Went Rock, Grub, and Water since they were all my favorite choices. Also a Pretty player too, I built all my other gear around the chunks I put in my splatfest tee so that I can play all my weapons with the right build and look amazing too.

I got really lucky with my tricolor battles. i only got 3, but i won 2 of them as fire. Plus both of us were able to grab an ultra signal each game. Other than that tho, it felt like every match I had against water I was losing. Like after halftime it seemed like everyone went ham, and the difficulty sky rocketed. IDK 1st splatfest and was really fun.

I was the f is for friends for the ENTIRE first half of the most recent splatfest. WHENEVER it was Love vs Love, EVERYBODY would be squid-bagging, partying, and even wasting specials and jumping off the edge at the end! It was so much fun and I REALLY hope we can again next splatfest as well. 😊

Here we go #1: - ehhh, first time I did it for shiver but now I just want to get frye a win this point. #2 ✖ gotten about 5 during the grub fun and gear fest. #3 - I am very dedicated to splatfest but do cut some hours for daily important things. #4 ✖ never knew they existed to be used in the fest tbh. #5 ✖ Not it ;w; #6 ✖ also not it. #7 ✖ don't usually go big brained on what i pick really #8 ✔ but more on the team to win really. #9 ✖ been playing it since splat 2. #10 ✖ I do not go by color. #11 ✖ Not too dissatisfied...however the grub fun and gear was sort of a semi let down #12 ✔ always love to play with my fren :> #13 ✔ yes yes 🙌 #14 ✖ nope.

Okay hear me out, I didn’t choose Marina because I liked her more. We just had so much in common. Besides that one time where she said ketchup was better than mayo. Pearl’s team was doing so well, but Marina was just about to ketchup.

Usually if I can’t pick a team based on what it is, I usually go for color as my second choosing option

yea the not being able to play tricolor for a while is the pain that we all relate to, tho this splatfest (grass vs fire vs water) for tricolor feels a little balance for the defending team at least

Im a mix of "f" is for friends and the grinder. I grind almost all weekend but specifically play with my team just for fun at when i can.

3:35 communication error has gone too much ive had multiple times where it said Battle Time an then all of sudden communication error right after it pops up 🙃
