  • Didn't this guy make exercise videos years ago? No, wait - this is not Richard Simmons? Sorry, my bad.

I watched him in concert 3 years ago. He sounded great. Just like he did when he first sang. He sang all his hits over the decades. Excellent.

We saw him in concert 2019 (pre Covid lockdowns). He was terrific, sang wonderfully, was funny on stage, told a few short life stories and was absolutely charming. He was on tour in England but lives in Oz.

Nothing happened to him. he moved to Australia. he lives a wonderful life in Sydney and performs regularly here and overseas. Aussie Leo.....
  • So this is what happened he was a successful singer with a wonderful string of hits and still does what he does best, essentially living the dream.

Leo Sayer was a handsome, talented, lovely man who also wrote hits for others. I still listen to him in 2021. Shame he never got the recognition or rewards that he deserved.
  • I use to serve Leo Sayer when he would come through Melbourne Airport. He always rented a Mercedes. He is a true gentleman.

His ballads are classics, why you never hear them on radio stations I just don't understand.

Amazing singer . Orchard rd was one number that brings back memories. I met his brother on a flight to Nairobi several years back. Leo was a very gifted singer, wish he would make come back.

Australia indeed loved Leo Sayer. Australians still listen to Leo Sayer songs on the beach and at home always. People like Leo Sayer made Australia a very lucky country. Thank you for the Music mate!! You made a lot of people happy. You should know. Leo Sayer songs are from 1970s - 80s and still slaps harder then most songs nowadays. Cheers from Australia.
  • I was a teenager in the 70's and sadly there was not one Leo Sayer fan in my entire high school, so I resolved to be a closet fan of Sayer, Rod Stewart and Elton John - so what the heck was the music vibe ...? KISS, ACDC, Led Z, and all that - which I couldn't abide. Sayer is a rare and gifted artist who for me gave new meaning to originality and expression. One of my many favourites in an eclectic 60s-90s mix of music from Glam Rock, Punk, Synth Pop, Indi Rock, Russian Trance and more.

I grew up in Shoreham beach in the 1970s and met Adam Faith on the way to school in about 1972, Leo used to live on a houseboat about ten minutes walk from my house. Shoreham beach was a great place to be a teenager with a fantastic beach and river.

4:41 "You Make Me Feel Like Dancing" is NOT IN ANY WAY IMAGINABLE a Rhythm & Blues song. It's a straight-out Pop song.
