Philip Seymour Hoffman absolutely devouring what could been a nothing role is like Mozart putting his spin on Chopsticks.

Dusty: The Extreme! IT'S THE EXTREME!
Bill: Oh man, don't start that shit!
Dusty: Oh manly handshake ensues! How you doing, man?

Dusty: [seductively to Melissa] "The Suck Zone". It's the point basically when the twister... sucks you up. That's not the technical term for it, obviously.

Bill: Goin' green.
Dusty: Greenage.
Bill: Saddle 'em up.
Dusty: You got it, boss.

Dusty: Ha ha! It's the wonder of nature, baby! WOOHOO! HEY YOU GUYS! WOOHOO!

Dusty: Are you okay? Did you just miss that truck? That's awesome! That's awesome!
Dusty: Bill, she just missed the truck! Exquisite.

Dusty: Well there's some good news ... it did fly!

Dusty: [holding onto the drivers side window] Fashionably late again, Jonas? Fashionably late. Gimme a kiss baby!
[kisses Eddies cheek]
Eddie: Get outta here!
Dusty: [laughing; points at Eddie as they drive by] Loser! Move on!

Dusty: [after a pair of tornadoes spun Bill's truck around a few times] Red meat. We crave sustenance.
Jo: No, guys. We are not invading my aunt.
Dusty: Food.
Dusty, Rabbit: [others join in] Food.
Dusty, Rabbit, Beltzer: [the rest join in] FOOOOOOOOD!
Jo: Hey! We are absolutely not going.

Dusty: He's gonna rue the day he came up against The Extreme, baby. Bill, I'm talkin' imminent rueage.

Dusty: DOROTHY'S FLYING! BABY SHE'S FLYING MAN!

Man Dusty was the ultimate hype man lol RIP Phillip Hoffman and Bill Paxton. I like to believe they're still chasing tornadoes in heaven while Van Halen is making some tasty tracks to chase to.

This was the first film I saw Phillip Seymour Hoffman and I became an immediate fan. He became a true screen icon, Bill Paxton at this point already was one. RIP to them both

Dusty using a TV as his as his vehicles music player shows how chaotic the character is.

This movie will always hold a special place in my heart. True 90s experience, will always bring you back to how them times felt. Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Bill Paxton absolute goats. Phillip truly stole the show for me.

I love the part were he gets dead serious and concerned when he finds out the tornado is likely to hit Wakita, and then leaps into the bus exactly how Dusty always does. Fantastic acting for a silly but loyal and devoted character.
  • Phillip Seymour Hoffman was the complete opposite of what Hollywood wanted in looks. Yet Andes up being able to fill some of the best roles iconic villains and camp over the top characters. Went head to head with Ethan hunt. The only baddie to almost kill him. Amazing actor

They don’t make movies like this anymore. It’s sad. I’m so lucky to have grew up in the 90s. The mid to late 90s were the pinnacle of filmmaking and story telling.

RIP to both of these dudes. Bill and Phillip were amazing actors. This movie brings back great memories of listening to my cousins custom surround sound in his room to this movie over and over. Miss the 90’s.
