I hope this helps any one working on their washing machine. Don't junk your old machine and spend your hard earned dollars on a new one. I hope you can diagnose what's going on with your machine if it's not working right. Good luck. My machine has done around 100 loads since I replaced that plastic gear and I love it still.

So how does the drain pump turn independently? Spin cycle rotation on lower speed, so clutch wont engage?
