I am starting to see a bunch of these comments pop up and I really don’t know why but this WAS a region I was planning for AFTER Cornera. Obviously I cancelled it… like I say in the video. Cornera still has a couple videos left.

I think a mon based on a bearded vulture would be cool. I've looked them up, and they live in the Pyrenees Mountains in Spain. It could maybe even be the regional bird and Ground/Flying type!

We NEED an Iberian newt. They pierce their skin with their ribs to stab predators and then inject venom through them. Maybe it's too metal for Pokemon but I think it would make for a great poison type

As a Portuguese person, it felt really good to see Portugal represented in more than just a name drop. The Fado inspired Pokémon are BEAUTIFUL, would definitely use them in my team 💖💖

I liked the ideas for the man o' war, but imagine a Poison/Fighting Falinks variant that references Roman ships and the fact that the man o' war is comprised of multiple organisms working as a single creature

The gardevoir and gallade are everything. I can also see them being Fire/Dark & Dark/Fighting

I've been wanting a pokemon based on Salvador Dali's paintings. I'd imagine Psychic/Fairy for its typing, and it having a surreality field around it that slightly bends reality

The Gardevoir and Gallade looked stunning. I would like to see a region that made up like Narnia or Nevernever Land, although all regions seem to be already that way.

I recently picture Tauros being a Fighting type with a new evolution called "Matatoro", a theatrically hammy bipedal Minotaur-like Pokemon.

As a spanish person I must say: 1: 1:30 GOD DAMN THANK U. It's pretty difficult to find non-spanish people that don't actually think we, spaniards, normalize this "practice" 2: The Tauros predict was definitely crazy 3: Loved the Gardevoir and Gallade forms 😭

there is a myth regarding the rooster of barcelos that says that it can predict the weather, so a pokemon based on it with castform's ability would be very cool

Portuguese Manowar? It better be Water Steel, or Water/Fighting! (For those out of the loop, Manowar were a famous metal band in the mid 80s, who's lyrics were all about swords, honor and fighting.)

I understand that many regions nowadays are based on specific real world countries, but I feel like fakemon makers get so wrapped up in making EVERY Pokémon fit the theme of the region. I was making a region based on Brazil and while there were a ton of options for fakemon concepts, I found it limiting to only do ideas based on Brazil, so I branched out. Besides, every real Pokémon region has Pokémon that don’t fit it’s region’s country (sigilyph, copperajah, incineroar, etc)

I do liked the design version of Gardevoir and Gallade because they looked amazing and I do hope that they'll be included in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet games even though this is just fan design ideas and not offical by Game Freak.
