The last jobs are finished on the cabin and it's time for decoration. The new chickens slowly get used to their new home. Thomas and Ryan are helping preparing fence poles and later Ollie and Johannes are visiting for dinner.

  • Anyone else crying? I am so happy for Martijn❣️I’ve been here from the beginning, and remember all the HARD work. You’ve done a magnificent job and am so proud of you young man. Can’t wait for next project. 👍🙂💖

No politics, no nonsense, no clickbait, no sponsorship, nothing what could potentially turn you off. Only raw, unfettered willingness to work, do art and live the life....pure joy for my soul in this crazy world we live in. Thank you Martijn, bravo!
  • Hi. My name is Diana. I'm a mom of 2 young kids from Ukraine. I started following your journey over a year ago in the midst of major blackouts caused by Russia destroying our electric infrastructure. Your channel instantly became my safe heaven. The beauty of the place, the steadfastness of the progress you made renovating those cabins, the bread baking... With a newborn in my arms living through the horrors of war I could escape and dream and envisage the future. Your channel was one a few that pulled me out of the dark place and kept me afloat. Congratulations on this huge milestone in your journey.

Martijn, I am a 75 year old lady in thr UK and have followed your journey with the cabin all the way through. You are such a perfectionist and you have created a magnificent home. It was lovely to see you with friends having dinner and lovely to hear the comments that your bedroon was swanky. Look fofrward to more of your creative works. Who needs TV when you get such great programs as this on you tube.

Who else got a little bit teary-eyed seeing those first photos of the cabin, and then the flashbacks of ALL of the work?? Bravo and congrats Martijn! You must feel so proud of this accomplishment. You have done amazing work! x

Magnificent. Not many YouTube videos will be remembered after 50 to 100 years, but this is a work of art. You and this part of your life will be remembered even after we are all gone!
  • Yes folks, this 82 year old granny agrees on all counts…we all love Martin and his genius…God is Great! Many thanks Martin for sharing, A legacy for the world to appreciate …🥰
  • What an achievement , renewing an old building that was destined to collapse but now will still be standing strong in another 100 years. Congratulations
  • @lucyoutside
I love that it was Ollie and the priest who came for your first fully finished cabin dinner. Really special!

Martijn, I am a 240 year old ghost who haunts your upper valley. I was there when the stone hut walls laid still buried under the slopes, the roof timbers swayed as lush green mountan emeralds and Father Johannes was barely a twinkle in his Great Great, Great, Great Grandfathers eye. I applaud your effort and endevours to restore this land and the history it holds. I send only blessings and good wishes to you . . . . Albeit it I was quite sad you replaced the Jimney, it was a trusted steed.
  • " It is finished, and it's a completed little home"....I can't imagine how pleased, happy and rewarded you must feel Martijn, to congratulate you only is not enough to express the admiration and respect I have for you.
  • I'm 81 years old, living in high desert Nevada and have watched your videos weekly.. you are an amazing artist... thank you for the weekly update and break from the worldly insanity that has infected America.
  • The before and after pictures literally did make me cry. Your whole loving community is celebrating this day. 💕
  • @shorerocks
God, dinner with Ollie and Johannes just made me laugh out loud. Just wonderful, watching all of you get together.
  • Started watching these Videos near the end of my senior year of high school, I’m now a certified engineering designer and own my own home, time is a fickle thing
