  • Dropped all my spanish classes and been focused on portugese. Such a beautiful language, the people are so sweet and the culture has so many things to learn
  • All excellent basic colloquialisms that I remember Brazilians used all the time when I lived there 20 years ago. "E ai cara. como 'ta!?" "Tudo na joia" One phrase that's also stuck with me is "Mão de vaca"
  • I love the brazilian-Portuguese/UK-english accent mix!! I could listen to it all day
  • Eu vejo muitos brasileiros ensinando ingles , agora professores brasileiros ensinando o português para estrangeiros , simplesmente maravilhoso, amei
  • I liked this video and found it really interesting. I have heard a lot of these words before but you included some other contexts that is super useful. Your English is fantastic and you can tell that you learned it in the UK because your accent sounds so British. One thing to know that slang is always singular. We don't say "slangs".
  • @AyourQ
Since I move to Brazil with my husband last year; I was asked if I knew any slangs! I didn't, but I do. Thank you ~ bonita
  • @nauticoom
Thank you! I’m trying to learn Brazilian Portuguese. Very useful

Obrigado para este vídeo. Estou tentando aprender português brasileiro sozinho. É muito difícil, mas falo um pouco de português. Um dia, quero viajar ao Brasil, mas quero falar muito bem português antes. These words will definitely help me sound more Brazilian. Kkkk. 😊
  • I can see you been to the U.K from the way you say together and tomorrow it more of British accent than from the US, Eu falo um pouco de portugues por que tenho uma namorada Brasileira. Eu sou Britanico!
  • Slang in English is never pluralized. It is always just slang, no matter how much of it there is. "I use a lot of slang", "there are tons of slang words" "slangs" doesn't exist.

Thank you for the video! Keep up the content 👍 I would like to learn more about Paulista sotaque and gírias.
  • I really enjoyed this. Cool video and your explanations are very clear on how these words are used. I’m learning Portuguese and doing well, words like these are exactly what I needed to spice it up a bit. Cheers. Looking forward to more videos and more slang hopefully. Mark
  • I am glad I found your channel, I am doing a marathon right now, very useful. Keep doing what you are doing, and you will get 10k soon. And beyond, boa sorte.
