What part of 'Early Access' do these kind of people not understand? Greg even posts a warning after you launch, saying it's not feature complete & there may be bugs. It's a public beta guys, and if you don't like it......

It is hilarious how incredibly stupid the people are who buy unfinished games and then complain about them being unfinished d unbalanced.

Yeah…manor lords is too easy…. I’m not dying from the first bandits or running out of food 🥲

The number 1 issue I had for the first couple of days was figuring out how to fill market stalls with the hundreds of goods sitting across the road in a granary or storehouse. The answer turned out to be as simple as removing and instantly adding families back into manufacturing buildings, so the manufacturing workers wouldn't occupy marketplace stalls. Same deal with farms. If I want effiency I have to micromanage every farmhouse and field. These are not game breaking bugs, but it feels almost like I have to fight with the game to make things run smoothly. I know. It's Early Access. It's not finished.

The trade perk is good, but i also can see your point. Perhaps they could leave it in for easy games, have a modified version for default games and take it out completely for hard games?

Instead of making it 25 flat just make it 25% off the original price.

i like the trade perk. if someone doesn’t like it, they could just not use it, no?
  • Its INCREDIBLY polished for an early released game, and it is essentially a sandbox, with a plethora of different options. This is a game that manages to deliver! It never gets old... BUT its unfinished, all the negative comments I have seen are extremely minor and trivial things. I have faith on them, very very much worth every penny.
  • Honestly what's in the game currently design wise is made incredibly well. The end game just isn't really there because it hasn't been implemented yet. As someone who's really not played that many city building games but is really interested in historical games I think this game is great as it is as a medieval town simulator and I can't wait for more content to come to the game and I don't think that there will be any issues over quality as what is in the early access is really high quality. Just some balance issues, which is to be expected, and missing content which the dev was very open about and will be coming in the future. For the price, it's great and honestly I love the expanding medieval/historical genre of games, can't wait to see what the future of manor lords has in store considering the overall great reception of the early access build.
  • Such a good game, but not Ready yet. Very big Problem for me, is the Lack of overviews and statistics. How many goods are consumed per Month, what buildings were built already in the village and so on. I love the roadbuilding, the housing and professions and the Atmosphere. The game needs a lot of work and it might be the best City builder/ strat game of the recent years!
  • Just raise your tithe for increased influence. It's pretty fast and doesn't lower opinion like taxes. It's a fuckin good game already, that's why it's popular.

I bought it early access and played for over 30 hours. I see your points and I have faith that it will be even better once it is all fully released. I hope he or hooded horse do not charge for dlc or full game. That would be unfair.
  • @lil-al
Produce excess food > tithe 20-30% > influence flows in faster than you can use it.

Buying a route is for a Dedicated trader. To the left it states if a route is required. If it is not you dont need to pay the fee to trade but it is less effective
  • Anyone else having massive issues with storehouses not being used? I've been looking everywhere trying to figure this out: I built a deep mine for iron, but its really far from my town. I figured okay so i build a storehouse right next to it and they will store the overflow in it. Then assigned people to store only iron ore in it and highlighted the mine as the work area. They wont store anything in the storehouse. The mine is constantly full and they walk all the way back to the town or just sit waiting not using the storehouse. What am I not getting here?
  • @Asmodai.
i tried all the perks in the same game as you get all different perks in all your provinces. the part i found hard about it was keeping track of everything going on in 5 different cities at the same time as i was fighting bandits and fighting a war for claims on my territory or trying to take a new province
  • @Zittylol
200 gold in the early game is a game killer? Why even charge for a trade routes?
  • @Willtopia
I've finished the game with Restoring the peace on Challenging difficulty and it's not that easy, the first fight with the baron is quite hard but when you won the first 2-3 battles, they just can't challenge you anymore. It become a joke if you can afford all the mercenary full time. The start is hard but not the end.
