  • I'd argue Palmer would be more effective in a variety of sides than foden
  • @jamiekb9v
palmer was the only player where 9 times out of 10 he got the ball and immediately tried to pass forward or make something happen offensively. yes many times he gave the ball away but so does kdb but its worth it for the magical moments.
  • Right so the actual content from the title starts 8:36 in. Talksport i get that longer videos make you more money but ffs there's an editorial balance, you'll just piss all your viewers off eventually.
  • Palmer is silky af, sees a pass and isn't scared to shoot or misplace a pass. That's the difference, they are both good but Palmer releases the ball way more than Foden.
  • @GPF0916
Play Foden without Pep and we will see. Palmer does not need a system, He is the SYSTEM.
  • @esantiago837
It's just too bad they voted Foden as Prem player of the year over Palmer. Now the whole world has seen what Chelsea fans have watched every game.
  • Id say palmer is as good as Bellingham but he hasn't got the hype machine behind him yet
  • @markt804
Foden used to be more like Palmer in his willingness to carry the ball, take players on and make things happen. Unfortunately, Pep has coached that out of him and he's become a system player. I think Palmer perhaps has more natural ability than Foden, but Foden is still an exceptional talent who could be doing a lot more in my opinion. Palmer absolutely made the right decision to leave Man City.

Foden is another like the Golden Generation, where they're great for club but rarely turn up for country. Doesn't say much when you have started 7 Euros games and have no goal contributions while bit part players like Toney and Palmer have.
  • Foden just suits City because of the manager and his team mates. Foden clearly is a class act, but I'm taking PALMER in a heart beat. One players needs a system and team mates to compliment him and the other one does not care about the occasion and just want to ball out!!!!!
  • @bn8530
These lads are just damn flaky. We can go back a few months and everyone was hailing Foden as the next best thing since sliced bread. Palmer was effective in the euros and all of a sudden he is better than Foden.
  • Foden are different types of player that can play in the same position...personally think Palmer edges he creates more for others than Foden
  • Its become evident that Palmer is actually so clear of Foden. I do rate Foden though but Palmer is a level above.
  • @nnaemekach
"Ban them all" This is the most unbiased opinion I've heard on this Chant saga. It's why Talksports remains the best
  • @granth1238
Is this meant to be controversial or what? Thought this was common knowledge?
  • @riicolana2819
Palmer is better put foden in Chelsea he gives you 5 goals and maybe 7 assists Man City is just well oiled
  • This ain’t to do with the euros.. palmer is clear of foden
  • I've said it a few times, Palmer is alot more dangerous compared to foden
